Educational Objectives:

At the end of this educational acitvity, the learner will be able to:

-evaluate the basic psychological and behavioral treatment options for OCD patients;

-provide an appropriate referral for patients needing treatment for OCD;

-prescribe evidence-based medication to treat OCD symptoms and comorbid psychiatric problems;

-incorporate strategies to explain very basic neurobiology of OCD to patients and their loved-ones;

-counsel patients and their loved-ones about non-pharmacologic interventional treatments for OCD.
